Maiko Takahashi

HR Finance Manager - Drake Business Services Asia - Japan

Originally from Japan, born in a small town called Niigata, Maiko attended a university in New York where she majored in Accounting. She worked for a CPA firm, moving over to a Japanese bank in New York City where her role shifted from accounting to HR, doing payroll, recruiting, establishing company regulations, etc.

She joined Drake Business Services Asia in April 2020, at the start of the COVID pandemic. Since then, the Japan team has grown in employee numbers and contracts. She enjoys the 'start-up' culture of the business where different schools of thought are welcomed.

In her spare time, Maiko enjoys spending time outdoors skiing and hiking. She has a deep appreciation for nature and finds herself spending more and more time near the water or in the mountains, soaking up its beauty.
