About The Role
Drake Business Services Asia is a leading provider of Office Support Services in Japan, enabling our clients to focus on what they do best.
We’re looking for a professional Part-time Receptionist to assist our multinational corporate clients (real estate and workplace services industry) based in Osaka in delivering an exceptional visitor and concierge experience.
As a member of the Japan team, you’ll be responsible for managing and greeting visitors, taking inbound calls, performing administrative duties, and conducting mail distribution.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Working at the reception desk and greeting visitors, including proper registration,
- Answering and handling incoming phone calls in a good manner,
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and staff and assisting their needs and requests,
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area and pantry when needed,
- Managing meeting room bookings,
- Assisting with set-up for meetings/conferences/events and helping with tidiness and cleanliness afterwards, when needed,
- Receiving, sorting, and redirecting daily emails, and
- Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing mail and courier consignments.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Attributes
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Tertiary qualifications in reception and telephone service (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in reception, office administration, hospitality, or customer service.
- English conversational skills (email, business calls, etc.).
- Basic PC operational skills (mainly e-mail and conference room reservation systems).
- Availability to work part-time shifts, approximately 2-3 days per month depending on business needs.
