About The Role
Drake Business Services Asia is a leading provider of Managed Logistics Services in Philippines, enabling our clients to focus on what they do best.
We’re looking for a Logistics Associate based in Metro Manila to assist the team in completing the requirements of the clients.
As a member of the Operations team, you’ll be responsible for performing administrative, clerical and support activities related to the daily courier operational tasks following the standard operating policies, processes and procedures of the company.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Operational activities:
- Receives and records both incoming and outgoing mails/parcels for courier operations.
- Answers calls, emails, inquiries of clients in the absence of the Specialist.
- Escalate all operational issues involving non-compliance affecting the clients to the Team Lead and/or Operations Head.
- Performs courier errands as needed.
Administrative activities:
- Timely and accurate accomplishment and submission of the following reports and documentations:
- Validation of shipment data in billing invoices prior costing computations of all shipments to be approved/confirmed by Team Lead.
- Check errors and duplications on any transaction and report these errors or inconsistencies to Team Lead and/or Business Unit Head.
- Organize a filing system for important and confidential mails that will be easily understandable for cross reference by the business unit. This must be regularly maintained and updated on a periodic basis.
- Orders and maintains office supplies and equipment.
- Performs work processing, creating spreadsheets and client presentations.
- Scans, prints, and photocopies documents as needed.
- Checks and properly files records and documents related to courier operations (log sheets, forms, reports, etc.).
- Prepare and submit validated reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
Ad-hoc Tasks:
- In a timely manner, coordinates and assists clients’ requirements in the absence of the Specialist.
- May be assigned 1-2 clients to handle as part of training for future responsibilities/position.
- Perform ad-hoc activities that will be occasionally assigned by Management.
- Complete special assignment or any other tasks as assigned by Team Lead and/or Business Unit Head.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Attributes
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Proficiency in English and Tagalog in both verbal and oral communications.
- Proficiency in using MS office applications.
- Attention to detail and cooperation.
- Adaptability and flexibility in any situation.
- The ability to multitask and provide the required output.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
- Willing to be relocated as and when needed.
